Refund policy
At Blades & Bookmarks, we want you to love what you wear. Because our pieces are made to order, we run a considered but strict returns process - please read this before ordering.
Returns Window
You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility
To qualify for a return, your item must be unworn, unwashed, and unused, with all original tags and packaging intact, along with proof of purchase. We do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect sizing - please check our sizing charts carefully before ordering.
Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned under any circumstances: sale items, gift cards, custom or personalised orders, and any item that has been worn, altered, or shows signs of use.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If an item is defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days at contact@bladesandbookmarks.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We'll work with our production partner to arrange a replacement or refund in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to Start a Return
Email contact@bladesandbookmarks.com with your order number and reason for return. If approved, we'll send you return instructions and the return address. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping is at your own expense unless the item is faulty.

Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know whether it's approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days; please allow extra time for your bank to post it. If more than 15 business days pass after approval with no refund, contact us at contact@bladesandbookmarks.com.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is shipped into the EU, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unworn, unused, with tags and original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Return shipping costs for EU cooling-off period returns are at your expense.
Your Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for goods that are faulty or not as described.
